We’re proud to have been part of a historic moment for Tivat and the Bay of Kotor — the final week of The Ocean Race Europe 2025. Our team led the regional PR and digital communication efforts, connecting media, communities, and visitors from across the region through a seven-day program celebrating sailing, innovation, and ocean care.
What We Did
· Developed and led the regional PR strategy: coordination with newsrooms and correspondents across the region, preparation of press releases, statements, and media kits.
· Created and executed the Digital plan: social media content, live and recap formats, and storytelling from the Ocean Live Park and the final regatta.
· Supported the protocol and media appearances of key speakers — from organizers to institutional representatives and The Ocean Race officials — ensuring their messages reached a wide audience.
An Event That Brought Sport and Community Together
From September 15–21, Tivat lived in the rhythm of regatta, innovation, and sustainability. Ocean Live Park hosted navigation and meteorology workshops, STEM zones for children, meet-the-crew sessions, sustainable solutions showcases, exhibitions on ocean protection, and a vibrant stage program. The highlight of the week was the Final Scoring Regatta held on September 20 in the Bay of Kotor.
The finale was marked by strong messages — from national leaders to The Ocean Race representatives — about Montenegro’s capacities, Boka’s hospitality, and the shared mission of ocean protection. Our team was on the ground to capture, shape, and share those messages with regional audiences.
Results We’re Proud Of
· ~100,000 visitors passed through Ocean Live Park over seven days.
· A seven-day program of sports, education, science, culture, and entertainment for all generations.
· Regional visibility through TV broadcasts and digital channels, supported by ongoing media coverage and social media engagement.
The Finale of The Ocean Race Europe 2025 confirmed the organizational capacities of Tivat and Boka and elevated the destination’s visibility on the global sailing map. For us at Represent, it’s yet another proof that strategic communication combined with genuine human storytelling can unite sport, science, tourism, and community — and leave a mark that lasts long after the sails are lowered.
